Bridgestreet Finance and Investment originally started in December 11, 2001 as a trading name, servicing small private clients in Sydney , who are investing at the time in Properties, Managed fund and the Share market.
The business grew slowly and steadily through referrals and word of mouth and in July 28, 2004, was formally registered as a company with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.
We have opened our doors at our official registered office at 301 George Street , Sydney , Australia to give service to our growing clients investing in properties during the property boom since 2001.
The core business then, was residential property and the residential finance section was aimed at servicing clients only who are investing in properties in most major capital cities in Australia.
In August 1, 2005 , we have been appointed by the Shang Grand Corporation a subsidiary of the Shangri-La Hotel Group of Hong Kong to be their broker, marketing their up-market developments in the Philippines . In October, 2007, SM Development Corporation, The biggest developer from The Philippines has also appointed Bridgestreet Group as their broker for all their developments in Metro Manila.
In 2006 , The Residential finance services, has grown dramatically and the company decided to expand the financial products to cover Personal Finance, Business and Commercial finance to Projects and Development finance and registered the trading name, Bridge2finance., which was now change to Bridge Street Loan Centre to handle all financial services inquiries from a small loan of $5,000 to a development loan of up to $150 million.
On the 18 of September, 2008, BSG CAPITAL (www.bsgcapital.com.au) was registered to handle funding inquiries of more than $150 million AUD for local and international investors investing in bigger projects in Australia.
